The area around the Square could use more residential development and density. Marietta is somewhere people want to live, thankfully. City leaders need to be more forward thinking. The talk about safety sounds disingenuous and a convenient excuse for NIMBY-ism.

I lean towards agreeing with Commissioners Gambrill and Birrell, a shorter time frame and support for trails is my preference and aligns with why I think many live in Cobb. There should be room to compromise though. Some transportation-related projects and plans have longer time horizons.…

Commissioner Gambrill shouldn't be making claims like that with no basis. There's enough misinformation in the world without having it also come from our county commissioners.
