Riverside Military scored the game-winning basket with 2 seconds to play to beat Walker 64-63 in the second round of the Class A private school state playoffs Wednesday.
The basket capped Riverside’s rally, after it trailed 44-40 heading to the final quarter.
Chandler Baker had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolverines (20-9). Chris Newell had 19 points, Omar Cooper finished with 13 points and four assists and Burke Chebuhar added three points, 12 rebounds and six blocks.
Harrison 2, Cherokee 0: The Hoyas beat the rain to pick up the neutral-site win on the artificial-turf fields of the LakePoint Sporting Community.
Charlie Tull was 2-for-3, while Micah Davis led the game off with a double, stole a base and was hit by a pitch.
Fisher Keith got the win in 3 2/3 innings of relief for Harrison (3-1), which will travel to Kennesaw Mountain on Friday.
