DEAR EDITOR:

As I have said before, I think your local columnist, Roger Hines, is probably a nice person. His columns that related to his Mississippi childhood and his teaching career were enjoyable to read.

However, his political opinion pieces have often left me speechless, with their embarrassing beliefs that Donald Trump was a “victimized” president.

After reading his July 31 column in which he again attempts to defend the worst (and most mentally incompetent) president this country has ever seen, I have decided to never spend time doing that again.

A great decision. An Intelligent person like Roger Hines does NOT need you reading his column. Thanks for opting out and I trust this will be your LAST comment on his column!!

You’re delusional. I’m guessing you voted for the incompetent current occupant of the White House. And even more stunning is you admit your bias. Roger Hines will laugh himself silly to know that a Leftist like yourself doesn’t read him. I know I am.
