DEAR EDITOR:

Once again the Democratic members of the Cobb County School Board have put their political ambitions ahead of the education of the county’s children.

The accrediting body Cognia had just recently reviewed the school system and extended the accreditation to 2024. So why the request for the review? Could it be their need to have their names in the paper? Could it be their desire to disrupt as much as possible to get their way? Could it be their desire to waste taxpayers money?

The Democratic members of the school board were elected to advance the education of our children. It appears their only interest is in advancing their own political careers. The collateral damage it causes is an acceptable byproduct as long as they achieve their goals of total control.

Good letter, Jerry. I especially liked the reference to the "Three Blind Mice" wanting to see their names in the paper. Their ignorance is jaha-larious.
