DEAR EDITOR:

Brian Kemp is quick to tout how Georgia looks out for children in defense of the Heartbeat Bill — a bill that denies a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body and attempts to control an outcome. Isn’t it ironic that he vetoed the Recess Bill, a bill benefiting child welfare, as he doesn’t want to interfere with local control?

Hmmm ... so “local control” is essential regardless of the needs of existing, live children, but controlling women is OK for “children” that are not yet viable.
