The State Bar of Georgia congratulates Marietta resident Charles C. “Chuck” Clay, of counsel with Hall Booth Smith P.C. in Atlanta on his reappointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a member of the Georgia Commission on Child Support.
All Georgians will benefit from Mr. Clay’s continued service on the commission, which regularly reviews child support guidelines, develops and maintains the Georgia Child Support Calculator, recommends legislation and provides training throughout the state to judges, attorneys and the public, among other duties.
With his acceptance of this reappointment, Chuck Clay — a former Georgia state senator, assistant district attorney and Cobb County commissioner — demonstrates his ongoing commitment to serving the public and the justice system. His fellow State Bar of Georgia members wish him well in this new capacity of statewide leadership.
President, State Bar of Georgia
