Dear Editor:

Dr. Jaha Howard running for Georgia schools superintendent was not much of a surprise. All of his antics with the Cobb County Schools Board of Education were never about improving the education of Cobb County students. It was always about improving his name recognition for his future political ambitions.

Why do we continue to elect politicians, both Democrat and Republican, who are more interested in advancing their political careers than serving the community that elected them? We use to elect servant leaders, but it appears we now elect leaders who want to be served.

Isn’t this guy a pediatric dentist? He should stick to examining children’s teeth. His political direction insights are awful.
