Kenneth R Spiker-Rochester NY: June 1, 2016, Ken died peacefully, at the age of 90. He is survived by his children, Keith (Terrie) Spiker, Douglas (Lauren) Spiker, Kathy (Gary) Farner, Dori DeWitt; grandchildren; Tanya (Jarrad) Michna of Marietta GA, Lara (Marc) Williams of Marietta GA, Christie, Cindy, Joe, Michael, Jennifer, and Ricky; 18 great-grandchildren; his brother Keith and beloved daughter-in-law, Toni Spiker of Marietta. Ken was an extraordinary, devoted father and grandfather, and a friend to all. He served in the Army Air Corps from November 1943 until the end of WWII. A gifted basketball player, he was drafted by the Baltimore Bullets and played semi-professional ball for three years. He retired in 1987 as a Master Journeyman Tool & Die Maker. A memorial service will be held at Simpson United Methodist Church in his hometown of Ft. Wayne IN. He will be interred in Coon Rapids IA.
