Ronald Dale Kirby, age 70, of Dallas, Georgia passed away May 8, 2019. Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Alden and Dora Kirby of Concord, TN, three brothers Roy Kirby, Beecher Kirby and George Melvin Kirby all of Locust Grove, GA. Ronald was a native of Concord, TN moved to Knoxville, TN, then to Marietta, GA in 1968 and then to Dallas, GA in 2005. He retired from CSX Railroad after 44 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved Bluegrass, Country and Gospel music. Loved to play the harmonica, banjo, guitar, mandolin and the dobro. He especially loved spending time with his loving family and friends. Survivors include: wife of 14 years Sharon L. Kirby of Dallas, GA; three children: Jason Kirby of Maryville, TN, Jordan Lee of Chattanooga, TN and Jessica Lee of Dallas, GA; brother: James E. Kirby of Locust Grove, GA; three sisters: Barbara McFall of Forest Park, GA, Helen Rhoads of Kingston, TN and his twin sister Linda Gayle Beeler of Maryville, TN; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com.
