Judith Jones, age 73, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. Judith was born June 16, 1947 in Fulton Co. to the late Willie W. "Bill" Causey and Gladys "Roxie" Causey. She graduated from Campbell High School in 1965. On May 14, 1967, she married Thomas Bailey Jones and they raised two sons, Brent and Chad. Judith had many passions. She loved and was an exceptional cook. Her passion project was as owner/operator of SnowFire Catering. Judith also baked beautifully decorated wedding cakes adorned with live flowers. Judith also loved to read. She always had a book close at hand. Judith's greatest passion was her family. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. Survivors include her husband, Thomas B. Jones, sons, Brent Jones (Lori) of Acworth, GA; Chad Jones (Candy) of Fayetteville, GA; grandchildren Zachary May, Ashley May, McKenzie Jones, Madison Jones, Cailynn Jones and Carlie Jones; brother Steve Causey (Desiree'), Powder Springs, GA, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends. Funeral Services will be held at Carmichael Funeral Home Smyrna on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 11 AM. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 6 PM-8 PM. Interment will be on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 1 PM at Westview Cemetery, 9 Goff Dr., SW, Moultrie, GA, 31768. The funeral service will also be streamed live on Facebook at Carmichael Funeral Home Smyrna at the beginning of the service.
