Daniel Roy (Dan) Adams, 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 due to complications from Covid-19. Dan was born in Lake City, Florida on June 26, 1947 to Mack and Lou Adams who preceded him in death. He grew up in High Springs, Florida attending Santa Fe High School and then the University of Florida. He was married to his high school sweetheart Susie Croley Adams for 54 years. They had two children Lisa Graham (Bill) and Rick Adams (Jodi). He was "Daddy Dan" to his four grandchildren Tyler (Madelyn) Graham, Brayden Graham, Pfc. Mitchell Adams US Army, "his favorite granddaughter" Morgan Adams and twin great-granddaughters Avery and Ansley Graham. He is also survived by his brothers Daryl (Kathy) Adams and Gary (Tricia) Adams and many nieces, nephews, cousins and very special aunt and uncle, Wendell and Mary Colson. Dan worked in the electrical wholesale business for over 40 years and reached his goal of becoming a business owner of Professional Sales Associates before retiring. He was a member and past president of BYO, an elite electrical businessman's organization, which he dearly loved and enjoyed. Dan loved talking to people, never meeting a stranger. He had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed playing golf, boating, fishing and most of all watching the Florida Gators football games. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 11:00 o'clock, Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, Marietta, Georgia officiated by Dr. Randy Mickler.
