The Smyrna Police Department is asking residents to be on the lookout for a boy who may be missing and without his diabetes medicine.
Police said 11-year-old Davion Prouse left his home off Highlands Parkway near South Cobb Drive and Interstate before 1 a.m. Saturday morning after having a dispute with his parents.
Davion is described as a light skin black male, 5 feet four inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and no shoes. He has long hair and it is in a ponytail.
Davion is a type 1 diabetic and last had his medication Friday at 7 p.m., police said.
He was last seen in the area of Oakdale Road and Highlands Parkway.
“Due to Davion Prouse’s medical condition it is vital that he is located as soon as possible,” said Smyrna Police spokesman Sgt. Louis Defense in a statement. “If anyone has seen or known the whereabouts of Davion Prouse, please call 911 or the Smyrna Police Department at 770-434-6666 immediately.”
