Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in east Cobb opened its pumpkin patch on Sunday, Oct. 3. The patch will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday through Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday until Oct. 31, according to the church's website.

Prices for pumpkins in the patch are based on size, and averages range from $10 to $40, though there are many cheaper options for smaller pumpkins and gourds.

Private group trips to the pumpkin patch during morning hours can be set up by contacting the Rev. Montana Hamby at montana.hamby@mtzionumc.org.

All proceeds from the patch go to the church's youth ministry for mission trips and spiritual retreats.
