1) Coca-Cola July 4th Fest

WHAT: Six Flags Over Georgia will have the Coca-Cola July 4th Fest. Each day, the park will have select rides and attractions available to ride one hour before the park opens, if participants come to the park with a can of Coca-Cola. The specific rides will be Twisted Cyclone, Georgia Scorcher, Dare Devil Dive, Goliath, Crime Wave, Batman: The Ride, Mindbender and The Joker Chaos Coaster. Each night, the park will have a fireworks show. Participants can purchase Hurricane Harbor VIP Event tickets to get the best seat in the house. Fireworks will start at dusk.

2) FreedomFest at The Aviation Wing

WHAT: The Aviation Wing will host FreedomFest 2019. There will be live music, food, games, aircraft tours and fireworks. Participants can also show their patriotism and appreciation to the men and women that serve the nation by writing a personal message of freedom’s meaning on the Freedom Wall. At dark, participants can view the city of Marietta’s fireworks, which will be only 1.67 miles away.

WHEN: July 4, noon to 10 p.m.

WHERE: The Aviation Wing, 555 Perrin Road, Marietta

3) Coca-Cola Memorabilia Show and Sale

WHAT: The Coca-Cola Collectors Club will hold a Coca-Cola Memorabilia show and Sale. The event will feature 100-plus tables filled with Coca-Cola items ranging from $1 to $1,000. There will also be free appraisals of Coca-Cola items.

WHEN: July 6, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE: Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Cobb Galleria Center, 2450 Galleria Parkway in the Cumberland area.

COST: Admission is free.

4) Water Lantern Festival

WHAT: Jim R. Miller Park will have a Water Lantern Festival that will include food trucks, music and thousands of floating lanterns reflecting messages of love, hope and happiness.

WHEN: July 7, 5:30 to 10 p.m.

WHERE: Jim R. Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta

5) Comedy Luau II

WHAT: The Strand Theater will welcome back Show Up Go Up to the big stage. These live comedy shows, born from the talent presented at the theater’s popular open mic comedy nights, are a way to see a full lineup of talented comedians.

WHEN: July 3, 8 to 10 p.m.

WHERE: Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre, 117 N. Park Square, Marietta
