The Tuten Brothers band at a sold-out show at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta.

The Tuten Brothers band, composed of Marietta natives Walker and Sam Tuten, have announced the release of their new single “King of the World” out on Friday.

The release follows a sold-out show at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta in February 2020.

The country music duo have been based in Nashville, Tennessee since early 2019, but made a name for themselves in Athens. They began writing and performing their own blend of country, southern rock, and soul music while attending the University of Georgia.

The brothers were born at Kennestone Hospital, played Little League at Oregon Park and attended Wesleyan Fellowship Church, now Riverstone. They even took their first guitar lessons in a house next to Northcutt Stadium. The duo also attended Eastside Christian School for Elementary school prior to their family’s move to Macon around 2005.

The new single is the second from a six-song project to be released by The Tuten Brothers throughout the remainder of 2020. The first single, “Make a Little Life”, has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Nashville editorial playlist for four consecutive weeks.
