Residents can take a leisurely walk through history and explore a property that has been farmed since 1840.

Tours of Hyde Farm, 726 Hyde Road in Marietta, take place on the second Saturday of every month. There are two 45-minute tours between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon. The next tour date will be July 13.

The 135-acre farm contains cultural resources, natural features such as the Chattahoochee River and forests, agricultural fields, pastures, an orchard, meadows, a home and farm outbuilding sites. Participants can also enjoy a pond built on Mulberry Creek.
