Mumferd is returning to Cobb County Public Libraries with Safety Tales performances in June.

A popular Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre character, Mumferd learns skills for health and safety with children joining him on the journey.

The Safety Tales family events are free and open to the public. The bilingual storytime performances are for children ages 3-7.

The upcoming performances are:

  • Mumferd Learns About Water Safety on Wednesday from 3:30 to 4 p.m. at the East Cobb Library, 4880 Lower Roswell Road, Suite 510-B in Marietta. For more information, call 770-509-2730.
  • Mumferd Learns to Exercise on June 24 from 11 a.m. to noon at Gritters Library, 880 Shaw Park Road in Marietta. For more information, call 770-528-2524.
  • Mumferd Learns to Exercise on June 26 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Kemp Memorial Library, 4029 Due West Road in Marietta. For more information, call 770-528-2527.
