The Cobb Police Athletic League will host its inaugural Smoke N' Guns Charity Boxing event on Sept. 13 at the Coca-Cola Roxy, 800 Battery Avenue in the Cumberland area.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with first bell at 7 p.m.

The event will feature Cobb County Police officers and firefighters along with law enforcement officers and first responders from surrounding municipalities. With approximately 20 bouts planned, the event will be sanctioned by the USA Boxing Association.

The Cobb PAL organization serves over 500 children and youth annually in communities through Cobb County and offers programs in track, martial arts, stepping, mentoring, boxing, football, baseball and soccer camps and Midnight Basketball. The organization is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization staffed by Cobb County employee volunteers.
