Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta recently announced its 2019-20 season line-up at The Fox Theatre, featuring the return of “Hamilton.” “Hamilton,” the story of America’s founding father, Alexander Hamilton, will run March 31 – May 3, 2020.

An immigrant from the West Indies, he became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first treasury secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now.

The show will be joined by 10-time Tony Award and 2019 Grammy Award winner “The Band’s Visit,” “Anastasia,” “Miss Saigon,” “Hello, Dolly!,” “Roald Dahl’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” and “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.” Audience favorite, “Blue Man Group,” and the most popular show on Broadway, “Wicked,” are available as season options.

“We are thrilled to be bringing another incredible season of Broadway to Atlanta,” said Russ Belin, Vice President of Broadway in Atlanta. “This season’s lineup truly is a celebration of Broadway through the ages, from Broadway classics to childhood stories that have come to life on stage. We’re proud to be able to bring the best of Broadway shows direct from New York to the Fox Theatre.”

Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (all times are subject to change.) An American Sign Language-interpreted performance for the deaf and hearing-impaired is available for a pre-determined Sunday matinee of each engagement.
