A group of local artists will be collaborating to hold a charity art show benefitting Marietta-based nonprofit Rescuing Hope on Dec. 2 on Marietta Square.

The art show will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the newly renovated office space of Kathryn Harbour Real Estate, 268 Church Street NE in Marietta.

Artists include Shannan Thompson, Audrey Troceen and Laura Bowman McNeil, whose work regularly appears on HGTV’s Rock The Block and Windy City Rehab.

The event is free. Wine, dessert and charcuterie boxes will be served without charge.

Proceeds from art sales, as well as all donations, will benefit Rescuing Hope, whose mission is to enlighten the public about sex trafficking in America, educate potential victims and first responders, and empower advocates and survivors. Susan Norris, the founder of Rescuing Hope, will also be speaking.

In alignment with this cause, the theme of the evening is freedom and the heart of rebirth. Special pieces from two Rescuing Hope survivors will also be on display and available for purchase.

Parking is available at Cadence Bank, 250 Church Street, two doors down from the event.
