MARIETTA — Kindergarten students at West Side Elementary School sang Thanksgiving-themed songs and acted out the first Thanksgiving, continuing an annual tradition at the school.
In an auditorium packed to the gills with parents, the students sang and danced on Friday, Nov. 18, the last day of school before a weeklong Thanksgiving break, dressed as Pilgrims, Native Americans and turkeys. The school has been performing the play for more than 40 years.
