A Douglas County man has been indicted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian in Smyrna in January.
Gabriel Alex Cammon, 20, of Douglasville faces two homicide by vehicle offenses — one for allegedly leaving the scene and the other for reckless driving — related to the death of Raul Romero Dominquez of Smyrna following a Jan. 17 wreck at the intersection of South Cobb Drive at Ask Kay Drive, west of downtown Smyrna, according to the indictment.
Additional charges against him include driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance, the indictment states.
Though bond had been set for Cammon at $80,000, he remained in the Cobb Adult Detention Center on Friday on a hold for Douglasville Police, according to jail records.
