If you're disappointed the fair was canceled this year, a smaller carnival set up at Cumberland Mall may satisfy your longing for rides, games and treats.

The carnival, run by Big Rock Amusements, will run through Sunday. Hours are 3 p.m. to midnight over the weekend.

Individual ride tickets are available for $1.25 each or $20 for 20 tickets, or buy a wristband for unlimited rides for $25. There is no admission fee.

The mall's website notes several precautions are being taken to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, including temperature checks of all employees and visitors.

"Safety is our #1 priority for guests and staff. Increased wait times and limited ride seating is just one way to help ensure fun and healthy thrills," the website states.
