Despite it being planned in neighboring Douglas County, a meeting May 23 could give some Paulding residents chances to hear from legislators representing them in the Georgia General Assembly .

District 66 State Rep. Kimberly Alexander, D-Hiram; District 30 State Sen. Mike Dugan, R-Carrollton; and District 67 State Rep. Micah Gravley, R-Douglasville, have been invited to participate in the Legislative Town Hall meeting along with other members of the Douglas County Legislative Delegation, according to a notice of the event.

Alexander, Dugan and Gravley represent districts that include parts of both Paulding and Douglas counties.

Douglas County’s delegation includes any legislator who represent districts which include any part of Douglas County. House Districts 66 and 67 and Senate District 30 include parts of both Douglas and Paulding counties.

The meeting is set for 6 to 8 p.m. at the Douglasville Public Safety and Municipal Court Building at 2083 Fairburn Road in Douglasville.
