Sheriff's investigators do not suspect foul play in the death of a man whose body was found off Ga. Hwy. 92 between Hiram and Douglasville today.

Construction workers found the body about 8:10 a.m. when they arrived at their work site at 2946 Hiram-Douglasville Hwy. near Morningside Drive, said Sgt. Ashley Henson of the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.

"The male is a known homeless individual who has been living at that site in a tent for quite some time," Henson said. "It is also known that he has an extensive medical history."

He said "there does not appear to be any foul play" and the body will be transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for an autopsy.

The victim's identity was not released because the family had not been notified, he said.
