Caleb Lee Hutchinson will headline a concert during Dallas City Fest April 27.

McKenna Farms will host a Barn Dance to benefit its equestrian team Saturday, April 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the center at 3044 Due West Road in Dallas.

Dancing, games and light refreshments will be offered. Cost is $10 per person or $30 per family.

McKenna Farms Therapy Services is a nonprofit that provides therapy services to boys and girls ages birth to 21 with special needs from throughout northwest Georgia and metro Atlanta.

It began in 2001 with 10 children, one physical therapist assistant, five volunteers and two horses. Today, it has 23 therapists who serve more than 500 children per week with physical, occupational and speech therapy and therapeutic riding.

Georgia Classic Rides’ 29th Annual Open Car Show & Swap Meet is set for April 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Paulding Meadows/Earl Duncan Park, 472 Paulding Meadows Drive, Dallas.

General admission is $5, with under 12 free. Door prizes, entertainment, auto vendors and food vendors will be part of the event.

Up to $1,500 in cash and prizes for entries in the car show. Pre-registrations up to April 20 have chance to win $100 drawing.

Registration fee for entries is $20 per vehicle pre-registered, $25 per vehicle at the gate. Show registration closes at 1 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit underprivileged children.

The eighth annual Dallas 5K Race for a Cure is set for Saturday, April 27, in downtown Dallas.

Registration for the Dallas 5K Race for a Cure can be done by visiting www.dallasga.gov/dallas-5k-race-for-a-cure.

The annual downtown 5K race is the city’s fundraiser for Paulding County Relay for Life and is an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Registration fee is $25 through April 15; rising to $30 after April 15.

Early check-in and bag pickup can be done at Academy Sports in Hiram April 26 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Race day registration and check-in starts at 6:45 a.m., with the race beginning at 8 a.m. Anyone choosing to walk the route is welcome, city officials said. For more information, visit dallasga.gov/upcoming-events.

The city of Dallas’ fourth annual City Fest will feature a concert by Dallas resident and “American Idol” 2018 finalist Caleb Lee Hutchinson.

Hutchinson, a South Paulding High School graduate, was the runner-up to Maddie Poppe on the 2018 revival of the long-running music competition show on ABC-TV.

He has released songs including, most recently, “Left of Me” and “Better Now.”
