Two Dallas-based companies saw their names in the spotlight recently after being honored as this year’s top industries in Paulding County.
The Paulding Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2019 Industry Appreciation & Workforce Development luncheon sponsored by Chattahoochee Technical College in mid-April.
The Chamber gave its Industry of the Year Award to aviation contractor Aerospace Fabrications of Georgia, and its Service Industry of the Year Award to Precision Heating & Air.
Aerospace Fabrications is a 26-year-old company. Adam Grizzle is the CEO and Tracy Grizzle the owner of the company which has operated on Butler Industrial Drive since 1996.
Its manufacturing services include computer numerical control (CNC) machining, tool fabrication, sheet metal forming and fabrication, assembly, and aluminum heat treating.
Among the company’s customers are Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, Gulfstream Aerospace, CPI Aero, Fokker, Piper Aircraft, and UTC Aerospace Systems.
Aerospace Fabrications has provide engineering and products for such aircraft as the C-17 Globe Master III, C-130 Hercules and AC-130 Gunship, and the commercial 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and 787 airliners, according to its website.
Precision Heating & Air has operated since 1985 and is owned by Chris and Brooke Roe. It is located on White Park Drive in Dallas.
Its custom-designed heating and air conditioning systems features products from Trane, Carrier, Rheem, Ruud, American Standard, Lennox and more, its website stated.
The awards event was part of the Chamber’s monthly Georgia Power Luncheon at Paulding County Community/Senior Center in Dallas earlier this month.
