The National Strength and Conditioning Association recently recognized three Weber School student-athletes as 2019 All-American Athlete Award winners. This honor recognizes athletic accomplishments and dedication to strength and conditioning. Nominated by Weber coach Jessica La Gala, the student-athletes’ determination to improve in athletics while maintaining academic prominence makes them great models for all student-athletes at the school. “We are proud to have Coach La Gala join the NSCA in its mission to safely improve athletic performance,” coach Scott Caulfield, the association’s head strength and conditioning coach, said in a news release. “Supporting our student-athletes like Stephen Rusnak, Shayna Leibowitz and Shami Frankel guarantees a stronger future for the NSCA.” For more information about the awards, including the All-American Athlete of the Year, visit www.nsca.com.
