Several Buckhead residents recently attended a special dinner that was part of a series of three events at the Palace of Versailles in France to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Versailles, which officially ended World War I (between Germany and the Allied Powers). Hosted by Catherine Pégard, the palace’s president, and a steering committee, in partnership with the United States World War I Centennial Commission, the 500-person dinner took place in the Hall of Battles. Atlanta native Alex Hitz was the event's executive chef and designer, and co-chaired by Buckhead resident Monique Seefried.
