Time to Talk: The Alzheimer’s Association and its advocates recently met with District 6 U.S. Rep. Lucy McBath, D-Marietta, at the association’s Georgia chapter office in Dunwoody for Time to Talk. At the event, individuals from all over the district shared the impact Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia has had on their lives. They also shared why it is important for McBath to support increased federal funding of Alzheimer’s research and monies to implement the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act, Improving HOPE Act (House Resolution 1873) and the Younger-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Act (HR 1903).
