SteerSmart, a Buckhead-based nonprofit dedicated to reducing car crash deaths and serious injuries among high school and college students, recently hosted its inaugural luncheon fundraiser at the Piedmont Driving Club in Midtown. About 330 guests attended the event, which was co-chaired by Christine Ragland and Carolyn Shiverick and raised over $45,000. A variety of students, parents, faculty and administrators attended the event from Episcopal High School, Georgia Tech, The Howard School, The Lovett School, North Atlanta High School, Pace Academy, Wesleyan School, The Westminster Schools and Woodward Academy.
