Tax credit to be expanded

Henry County Government in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be sponsoring an eight-hour homebuyer workshop, presented by Metro Fair Housing Services, on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cochran Public Library in Stockbridge.

The workshop will teach potential homebuyers how to determine how much they will need to purchase a home, how credit relates to purchasing a home and the advantages and disadvantages of different types of home loans.

Home inspectors, real estate agents and lenders will be available to answer questions.

Space is limited and those interested in attending the homebuyer workshop should reserve a seat by Monday, April 15. To register call 404-524-0000 ext. 17.

The Cochran Pubic Library is located at 174 Burke Street in Stockbridge.
