Santa Claus visited McDonough in two places on Dec. 9.

The man in the red suit settled in at the McDonough Square in a colorful sleigh, accompanied by Mrs. Claus.

They were the hosts of the Main Street McDonough program Santa Saturdays on the Square. The final Saturday is Dec. 16.

Santa was also spotted at the Heritage Hawaiian Christmas Festival a short distance away at Heritage Park.

The event, staged by Henry County, included arts and crafts, a llama and alpaca petting zoo, photos with Moana and Maui, s'mores, a tree lighting, Christmas card-writing for USO delivery to military personnel overseas.
