The cities of Sandy Springs and Dunwoody will co-host a public information open house meeting on improvement concepts for the Dunwoody Club Drive-Jett Ferry Road intersection. It will take place Feb. 8 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Dunwoody Community Church, 2250 Dunwoody Club Drive in Sandy Springs.
The open house offers an opportunity for community review and input on concepts designed to improve traffic efficiency and safety at the intersection. There will not be a formal presentation, but representatives from both cities will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. The intersection was identified as a location which would benefit from mobility and safety improvements.
The project is included within the transportation special-purpose local-option sales tax (TSPLOST) program approved by voters in Sandy Springs and Fulton County in November 2016.
