Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta recently honored more than 400 military veteran employees during its annual Salute to Our Veterans event. Three longtime employee veterans shared why the values they learned while serving led them to Children’s as their place of employment. The 18th annual event also included breakfast, an opportunity for attendees to sign cards with words of encouragement and gratitude for the active duty Children’s employees and a flag-raising ceremony as the Children’s Employee Choir performed “God Bless America” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
