Horizons Atlanta is a six-week summer learning experience that supports students from underserved communities throughout their K–12 academic careers. Horizon’s program at Atlanta International School recently was honored twice by the Rotary Club of Buckhead. First, the club and District 6900 donated a $3,000 grant to Horizons to help it continue its literacy, math and project-based learning initiatives. Second, Kevin Glass, Atlanta International’s head of school, received The President’s Vocational Service Award for service to education for the 2019-20 academic year.
