The 63rd annual Piedmont Ball, themed “The Splendor of Crete, the Greek Isles,” will take place Jan. 25 at the Piedmont Driving Club in Midtown. The event will include cocktails, dinner and dancing to the Pure Party Band and late-night entertainment by singer Douglas Cameron. Hosted by the Woman’s Auxiliary at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, the event is a major fundraiser for the Buckhead hospital, and proceeds from this year’s event will be used to help purchase a fluoroscopy unit for the Piedmont Transplant Institute. Organizers of the ball recently hosted a patron party at Roger Smith’s home in Midtown. The proceeds from the 2020 Piedmont Ball will be used to help purchase a fluoroscopy unit for Piedmont Transplant Institute at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Buckhead. For more information or to purchase tickets, call the auxiliary’s office at 404-605-3273.
