The Atlanta Police Department is seeking the public’s aid in finding a suspect who robbed a woman at a bank’s ATM in Buckhead.

“Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was depositing cash into the ATM at the location when an armed male suspect emerged from the backseat of a white vehicle and approached her,” the release stated. “The suspect demanded the victim’s cash while pointing the firearm at her. The victim complied, and the suspect fled the scene in the white vehicle. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.”

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black or dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood on, a gray or black mask or piece of clothing covering his mouth and black pants or shorts.
