The crowd enjoys a concert during the 2018 Sunset Sessions series under the garden tent at the Park Tavern in Midtown.

Sunset Sessions, the weekly free concert series at the Park Tavern in Midtown, is back.

The alternative music series, taking place Sunday nights under the bar and restaurant’s garden tent, kicks off April 28 and runs through Sept. 8, according to a news release.

First launched in 2015, the series is a partnership between radio station ALT 105.7 and the Park Tavern. It will start with Athens native rocker T. Hardy Morris with support from Neighbor Lady and Teddy & The Rough Riders.

The following additional artists have been confirmed for remaining future shows:

May 5: Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Laura Reed and Whoa Dakota

May 12: Tropidelic, Of Good Nature and Beauregard & the Downright

May 19: Rhett Price

June 2: Kat Wright and The Rad Trads

June 9: Stop Light Observations and Sound Culture

June 23: Blair Crimmins and The Hookers, Remember Jones and The 502s

June 30: Rare Creatures and Dead Swells

July 7: Diane Coffee

July 14: Dr. Bacon

July 28: Próxima Parada and Little Bird

More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Park Tavern is located at 500 10th St. NE in Atlanta, on the Atlanta BeltLine. Concert goers can enjoy giveaways throughout the series and the opportunity to mingle with on-air personalities from ALT 105.7 in Atlanta.

Every show is from 7:30 to 11 p.m. and guests must be 21 or older to attend. Though general admission tickets are free, VIP tables for 10 are available for $100 each, and attendees can preregister for all tickets.
