The Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Preschool & Kindergarten, 6150 Sandy Springs Circle in Sandy Springs, will host the 12th annual Touch A Truck April 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This annual family friendly community affair will feature an incredible display of vehicles of all kinds for attendees to climb into and explore. Trucks include a firetruck, police car, crane, ambulance, dump truck, bobcat, bus and many more. In 2018, over 1,700 residents attended this family event. The 2019 Touch A Truck will feature a Kid Zone with bouncy houses, inflatable slides and a soft play area for young children; a concession area; music and entertainment; giveaways; and over 20 different trucks and vehicles on display.

Fully volunteer-led, Touch A Truck serves as the largest fundraiser for the church’s preschool and kindergarten. Proceeds from this year’s event will help with the expansion of the preschool’s new outdoor classroom, which focuses on allowing children from the school and community to explore and learn in nature. Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family maximum contribution. Children 1 and under are admitted free. Only cash is accepted. The event is held rain or shine. In case of rain, the Kid Zone, concessions and other activities will be relocated inside the gym.
