The Galloway School Theatre Company won the Georgia High School Association's One-Act Play competition in the Class A private division Saturday with their production of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.”

Also, the Buckhead school’s “Troubadours” won all-star cast recognition as well.

Galloway was the only local school to win or place in the top four at the state One-Act Play contest out of four classifications (AAAAAA, AAAA, A private and A public).

The remaining classifications (AAAAAAA, AAAAA, AAA and AA) competed in their state contests Saturday. In AAAAA, Chamblee High School placed fourth for “Theory of Relativity.”
