Dawn Clements, a Sandy Springs resident who invented the Fit Buddy, will host a workshop and class March 3 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Springs Yoga Studio.

The Fit Buddy is a health and physical fitness device which has proven to be as effective at reliving tension headaches and sinus pressure as it is at reducing the pain of tendonitis and sciatica. It is a tool to be used head to toe that is helpful for recovery, releasing tension, creating mobility, flexibility, stretching and massaging the body.

Clements and Ruth Ann Martin, the studio’s owner, will co-host the workshop, where participants will learn more than 20 ways to use the Fit Buddy.

“There’s something for everybody in this class,” Clements said.

Registration is $25 and Fit Buddies will be available for use at the workshop. Attendees are asked to bring a yoga mat and a hand towel.

The studio is located at 4920 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. For more information on the Fit Buddy or the workshop or to register, visit www.fitbuddy.us.
