The Buckhead Heritage Society will host A Hunt for Buckhead’s Hidden Secrets, a history-themed scavenger hunt, May 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the nonprofit and its mission to identify, preserve and promote Buckhead’s history and historic resources.

In teams, guests will compete against each other to solve clues, seek out historic locations and take photos related to the community’s past. Each successfully resolved clue will be worth points.

The event will begin at 3696 Northside Drive in Buckhead.

At the end of the hunt, guests will return to the festivities for hors d’oeuvres and a rousing closing ceremony where the winning teams will be celebrated.

The first clue: At 4 p.m., meet at the private Buckhead location of a badminton supper club during the 1960s — a regular event that brought together Atlanta’s leading bankers and attorneys.

Buggy tickets are $75 per person and are available for members of a four- to six-person team that will provide their own vehicle for the hunt. Carriage tickets are $125 per person and include a seat in an eight-person chauffeured limousine for the hunt.
