Author Charlotte Laws is returning to her hometown for a book reading and signing at Barnes and Noble, 2900 Peachtree Road in Buckhead, May 3 at 7 p.m. The public is invited.

Laws, who lives in Los Angeles, grew up in Atlanta and graduated from The Lovett School. Her new book, “Devil in the Basement,” is a bestseller. It is a novel based on the true story of her grandfather who was killed by a devil worshiper in 1948. (Laws was raised an adopted child and tracked down her birth family.)

She is a cable news pundit, was the star of the NBC show “The Filter” and is known around the world as the “Erin Brockovich of revenge porn.”
