To celebrate Agape Youth and Family Center’s positive impact on children and their families, Agape held a free carnival-style “Day of Fun” on Oct. 7.
Families enjoyed snow cones, slides, a gaming truck, food from local restaurants including, Moe’s, Jim and Nick’s, and more. Additionally, there was a live DJ on the 1s and 2s announcing giveaways and prizes throughout the event.
Founded in 1997, Agape Youth and Family Center’s mission is to empower and support underserved families to help them discover and embrace their full potential. Agape’s programs provide in-school and after-school enrichment for 215 students grades K-12 from six Atlanta Public Schools. Agape has served the Bolton Community, now Upper Westside for 25 years, leveraging academic success to end the cycle of generational poverty for children in underserved communities.
