Karen Rodriguez, vice president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties’ City Haus division and founder of Group KORA, recently was the subject of two news items announced by the Roswell-based company.

First, last month Berkshire and Group KORA hosted a celebratory evening themed “Rosé the Night Away,” at the Mandarin Oriental Residences in Buckhead to laud Rodriguez, who won the 2017 No. 1 National Best Website Award by 2017 Real Trends, a Castle Rock, Colorado-based publishing and communications firm focused on the U.S. residential brokerage industry.

“This prestigious honor is a testament to the exceptional level of Karen Rodriguez’s professionalism and attention to detail,” Berkshire President and CEO Dan Forsman said in a news release. “We are very proud to have Karen and Group KORA on our team.”

Rodriguez, as a licensed broker and investor with more than 10 years of Atlanta luxury real estate experience, is known as Atlanta’s Condo Queen, a title given to her by other Atlanta Realtors and the local media. She exclusively represents the Mandarin Oriental Residences, 46 homes on the 25th to 42nd floors of the building.

Second, earlier this month Forsman, in conjunction with development firm Olympia Heights Management, announced the exclusive sales and marketing of the planned No. 2 Opus Place luxury condominium building in Midtown will now be spearheaded by Rodriguez.

“Karen Rodriguez’s experience and success overseeing the sales and marketing for some of Atlanta’s most high profile projects, including most recently, the sellout of The Ritz-Carlton Residences and the Mandarin Oriental Residences, eminently qualify her to take No. 2 Opus to the next level,” Forsman said.

Said Rodriguez, “No. 2 Opus Place will be the ultimate destination, offering a lifestyle beyond compare at a property unlike any other in Atlanta. Soon to be a defining element of the alluring Midtown skyline, Opus will epitomize splendor at all levels appealing not only to Atlantans, but also to national and international buyers seeking to relocate or invest in Atlanta.”

The architecture of No. 2 Opus is designed by renowned architectural firm Perkins + Will with interiors by Champalimaud. The 189 residences will be a mix of one- to three-bedroom homes and penthouses, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows revealing endless and stunning city and park views. Homes will range from 980 to 5,000 square feet with pricing starting at about $700,000 and going up to $12 million.
