The City of Alpharetta, in partnership with the cities of John’s Creek, Milton, Roswell and Ed Isakson YMCA are hosting a Special Needs Services and Expo on Saturday, July 27, at the Alpharetta Community Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This free event will showcase services designed for the special needs populations of north Fulton and to advocate, partner and network with the community.
A wide variety of resources that assist the special needs population will be present at the expo. Examples of businesses and agencies represented will be medical professionals, education resources, respite care, therapy, life skills, job training, fitness and recreation.
Fun activities for the kids will be scattered around the event, and Alpharetta’s BrewAble Cafe will be serving coffee and treats.
Vendors, providers and businesses that offer services for special needs populations are invited to participate in this exciting new event. The deadline to apply as a vendor is Monday, July 8, at 12 p.m.
The cost for vendors is $50 for profit/commercial and $25 for nonprofit. All proceeds from the vendor fees will be awarded to a special needs family to use toward one of the services or vendors at the expo.
