Jackson Healthcare in Alpharetta will continue to expand its campus with the opening of "AlleGro," an on-site childcare center this fall.
The child development center aims to "provide high-quality childcare and early education programs for infant, toddler, preschool and Pre-K aged children" available exclusively to Jackson Healthcare associates.
According to the Jackson Healthcare website, the addition is the "latest associate benefit designed to meet the needs of today’s modern workforce."
“We are delighted to partner with Jackson Healthcare to bring best-in-class, innovative childcare to its associates’ families, and to be part of its benefit program designed for the changing needs of today’s modern workforce,” said Bright Horizons CEO Stephen Kramer.
AlleGro will be operated by Bright Horizons, the largest provider of employer-sponsored childcare in the United States, according to a news release.
Bright Horizons delivers "innovative childcare and early childhood education programs for families by re-imagining the connection between work and home and creating new ideas for the way people work, live and learn today."
The AlleGro childcare center will utilize Bright Horizons’ curriculum and pursue National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation once the center is eligible.
“Our mission is to improve the lives of everyone we touch, and that, of course, means that we are intentional about offering benefits that effectively serve our associates and their families,” said Jackson Healthcare President Shane Jackson.
“We know that finding affordable, high-quality childcare is a top priority for working parents, so we are proud to introduce an on-site option to help fulfill that need," said Jackson.
AlleGro joins an "already long list" of Jackson Healthcare associate benefits.
Associate benefits also include, "an on-site health clinic with prescription dispensary; mobile vision, dental and mammography offerings and mental health support; and a state-of-the-art fitness center that offers individual workout opportunities, group fitness classes and personal training."
Jackson Healthcare also offers access to healthy eating options with its on-campus restaurants.
With the introduction of AlleGro this fall, Jackson Healthcare will join a short list of Atlanta-area employers that offer on-site childcare.
"We have seen first-hand how committed Jackson Healthcare is taking care of its associates and look forward to serving them and their families with this new benefit," said Kramer.
The Neighbor will continue to provide updates on the new campus addition as details become available.
