Fulton presser 1 Jeff Rose

Fulton County School System Superintendent Jeff Rose, Ed.D., speaks at a news conference Feb. 23 at the district’s headquarters in Sandy Springs.

The Fulton County School System announced April 17 that all of the district’s traditional high schools have been named “AP Honor Schools,” a distinction from the Georgia Department of Education recognizing schools that are leaders in offering students the most challenging curricula available.

Fulton County has 15 traditional high schools and two non-traditional high schools.

The 2018 AP Honor Schools awards are based on the Class of 2017’s testing results and are grouped into six categories: AP STEM Schools, AP STEM Achievement Schools, AP Humanities Schools, AP Merit Schools, AP Challenge Schools, and AP Access and Support Schools.
