Alpharetta will be hosting its new “Summer Eats and Treats”  tourism campaign and weekend getaway package giveaway this summer until July 31.

This new Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau “Summer Eats and Treats” campaign highlights some of the city’s many attractions and family-friendly cuisine. It also includes an Awesome Alpharetta vacation giveaway, including overnight accommodations at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alpharetta - Windward, plus attraction and restaurant gift cards.

“Summer is the perfect time to head out on a family road trip to Alpharetta with so many options of things to do and places to eat,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Families can kick off their Alpharetta adventure by teeing off at Topgolf Alpharetta. Topgolf features over 100 climate-controlled hitting bays, restaurant, bar, music and HDTV’s to catch all the sporty action between swings. Families can also visit Main Event Entertainment for state-of-the-art bowling, black light laser tag, more than 100 arcade games and an indoor ropes course.

For a round of friendly, family teamwork, Urban Escape Games and Odyssey Escape Game provide a pulse-pounding adventure as guests work together to escape the room. For an extra cool experience, The Cooler Family Skate Center provides the perfect indoor-ice skating conditions, no matter the temperature outside.

Not only can you shop at the American Girl store in Alpharetta, but you can also dine in their perfectly pink Bistro. The American Girl Boutique and Bistro offers brunch, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner in an environment made just for kids – including special seats for doll friends, too.

Hungry parents and kids will find a perfect dining solution at Buca di Beppo with generous family style Italian dishes perfect for sharing around the table.

For dessert, ice cream at Four Fat Cows will make every member of the scream with delight. This ice cream parlor offers homemade waffle cones and unique ice cream flavors such as strawberry balsamic, huckleberry cobbler and chocolate pecan pie. Four Fat Cows also offers plenty of gluten free and dairy free options.

"This campaign is a perfect opportunity to showcase the city’s attractions and family-friendly dining offerings to encourage travelers to visit Alpharetta and stay in one of the city’s 26 hotels,” Rodgers said.
